Outdoor kitchens. Rides. Entertainment. Exhibits. There is so much to do at the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, you will want to be sure you have a plan when you step into the park to enjoy your day. This general itinerary will help you to make the most of your festival visit. Get ready to make some lasting memories!

MORNING

Eat breakfast before you get to EPCOT and plan on getting there right when the park opens. If you are staying on Walt Disney World Resort property, you will want to see if there is extra time in the parks for resort guests. The festival events tend to start once the World Showcase officially opens, which is typically around 11:00 AM EST. This means you have the morning to explore World Celebration, World Nature, and World Discovery. Get your ride time in! Enjoy some of the most popular attractions including Soarin’ Around the World, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, and of course the most recognizable ride in all of EPCOT, Spaceship Earth.

DAYTIME

When the World Showcase opens, it’s time to partake in the festival activities. Grab a festival passport and find a spot to sit. You will want to go through the passport activities and decide which booths, activities, entertainment, and exhibits you want to stop at. From there, begin making your way towards the entrance of the World Showcase.

Head left to start at the Mexico Pavilion. Head right to begin at the Canada Pavilion. The choice is yours!

As you circle the World Showcase, stop at the outdoor kitchens and grab a bite. The food at these booths is sample sizes, not full meals. I recommend you share these with a friend or family member so you can maximize the number of unique dishes you get to try. Be sure to keep track of what you have had in your festival passport!

Be sure to keep your eye on the time, so you don’t miss any of the entertainment/activity options that you scoped out in the festival passport earlier. And, also remember to explore the gardens and topiaries as you venture through the park!

EVENING

As the sun goes down and your trip around the World Showcase is coming to an end, you will want to find a good spot to enjoy Luminous The Symphony of Us, the nighttime spectacular. This show can be seen from almost anywhere around the World Showcase Lagoon.

If you are hoping to make a quick run to your resort after the show, I recommend viewing it from the United Kingdom Pavilion (if you are staying in the BoardWalk area or at a Skyliner resort). If you are staying at any other Resort area, an ideal viewing spot would be at the entrance to the World Showcase. Wherever you end up, the views are sure to be spectacular!
